Experimenting with my false mirror reflection images I printed out my favourite image from the triptych in black and white. I then photocopied it onto acetate paper to create my template. I then used this template combined with a quote template that I also printed onto acetate to create a series of images having the supersomposistion effect using Cyanotypes and Photograms.
I started off by creating two separate photograms using my acetate images giving me a rough idea of how long I need to expose my images for. I then layered my photograms; I placed my acetate on to photographic paper to create my background and then switched

Rockland's Blueprint is a well-used process for producing a blue image on paper or cloth with the use of a bright blue light for exposure of a negative. The blueprint process does not require a darkroom, the blueprint solution is coated on absorbent paper in a dimly lit room I used a paint brush to complete this stage. I then dried my piece of paper with a hair dryer before placing my negative over the sheet of paper. I then exposed my image for approximately 40 minutes under a halogen light bulb with my image and piece of
paper weighted down with the use of a glass pane.
I then left my sheet of paper under a running tap until all the “yellow” was removed from the sheet of paper. This is all that is needed to fix and develop the image. I then left the final blue image to dry naturally, creating my Blueprint/Cyanotype image.
